Motomimi           

She  was born and raised in Japan. After she finished her specialty fashion school education in Tokyo Japan, she moved to NYC in 1993 and has worked as a tailor, dressmaker, costume producer (worked extensively for an artist Mariko Mori, Janet Jackson and for various theater productions for actors,musicians and dancers.) and also as a designer ever since. In 1995, she launched her own label, "MOTOMIMI". In 2005, she opened her boutique which carried her brands in NOHO and Astoria, NewYork. Currently her work is mostly requested of custom orders of original costumes.
